What is Growth mindset?

A “fixed mindset” assumes that our character, intelligence, and creative ability are static givens which we can’t change in any meaningful way, and success is the affirmation of that inherent intelligence, an assessment of how those givens measure up against an equally fixed standard; striving for success and avoiding failure at all costs become a way of maintaining the sense of being smart or skilled. A “growth mindset,” on the other hand, thrives on challenge and sees failure not as evidence of unintelligence but as a heartening springboard for growth and for stretching our existing abilities. Out of these two mindsets, which we manifest from a very early age, springs a great deal of our behavior, our relationship with success and failure in both professional and personal contexts, and ultimately our capacity for happiness.

What is Neuroplasticity?

Neuroplasticity is the brain's amazing capacity to change and adapt. It refers to the physiological changes in the brain that happen as the result of our interactions with our environment. From the time the brain begins to develop in utero until the day we die, the connections among the cells in our brains reorganize in response to our changing needs. This dynamic process allows us to learn from and adapt to different experiences. Brainline .org

What is Creative Subconscious?

Creative subconscious will make sure that you behave the way you know you are. It looks at your present self-image and makes sure that your actions match it. Living 4 Bliss This is why you cannot successfully break a bad habit until you change the way you think of yourself. For instance, if you believe that you cannot control your overeating, if you should start to exhibit control, the creative subconscious will adjust your behavior to force you to act like yourself. It will cause you to continue to overeat. You can do better for a short period of time, but the creative subconscious will do everything in its power to correct your behavior so that your action match your version of reality. This is how it maintains your sanity. In order to maintain your sanity, the creative subconscious will sabotage your success. You can only stop this process by changing your beliefs.

As a psychologist working in schools, I can see how Drive to Rise has the potential to revolutionise how we engage with students. Incorporating the principles of positive psychology, positive education and the science of neuroplasticity, Drive to Rise is delivered in a medium that students can relate to and engage with. Latest neuropsychological research has taught us that the brain is plastic, it has the ability to change and form new connections throughout our lives. Drive to Rise focuses on the specific skills to build resilience, enhance positive emotions and relationships, and promote character strengths. In essence, by engaging in the program, students reinforce these neural pathways and they become "hardwired" in the brain. Yet - it is more than just another app. What differentiates this program is that Phil Jurjevich has been able to combine his unique interpersonal skills that he uses in the classroom and when coaching athletes, and apply them in a digital context.
